Stuy' 09 alumnus Nolan Becker, a standout starting pitcher as a member of the Stuy baseball team, was selected as a major league prospect by the Cincinnati Reds in last week?s baseball draft. Nolan also starred for the Yale team after graduating from Stuyvesant – will we see him take the mound at Citi Field or Yankee Stadium in future years?

Greg Augarten '05 and his Pizza Delicious company was recently featured on NPR's Planet Money.

Several successful alumni from the financial/entrepreneurial field visited Stuyvesant classrooms recently. Theo Polan ’05 spoke to Ms. Clarissa Bushman’s Economics classes about his job with the U.S. Treasury Department as a Fiscal Affairs Specialist. [Learn more]

Self-described “Serial Entrepreneur” Gerry Seidman ’76spoke with the Young Entrepreneurs’ Club and several economics & computer science classes about his experiences creating and selling numerous companies over the last 30 years.
