The following Stuyvesant High School seniors have all been selected semifinalists in the regional Junior Science and Humanities Symposium. They will go on to compete for a trip to the national conference (in Washington, DC) and then international competitions (London, England) during the next month.

Nicholas Rivera '12: Invented a new deposition method which improves the quality and speed of producing certain types of thin film electronics.
Jennifer Zhao '12: Developed a new system for voting in democratic elections.
