Lisa Cangro Tepperberg '88

Lisa began her involvement with the Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association in 1997 as a volunteer coordinator for the Class of ’88 reunion. She continued to function as the class organizer and most recently planned their 20th reunion in October 2008. She was invited to join the Board of Directors in September 2008.
Her professional experience includes the New York Mercantile Exchange, Knight-Ridder Financial/Bridge Information Systems, Bankers Trust and over 9 years at JP Morgan as a Vice President in Trading Technologies. One of her more satisfying achievements while at JP Morgan was the production of a high-end charity event for China Care, an organization that provides surgeries for special needs orphans in China. The event raised $92,000, of which $77,000 went directly to China Care programs. Her enthusiasm for bringing people together for joyous occasions has transcended into her current career. Lisa is an event planner handling private and corporate clients. She lives in the West Village with her husband Ricky Tepperberg ’87 and daughter Zoe.
