Tel: Fax:	Robert Sherwood, MBA '68 Position: SHSAA Director Term Ends: Spring 2011 Bob operates his own independent insurance practice with Northwestern Mutual in NY and NJ.  His focus is on personal and business needs-based planning for professionals, executives, families and independent business owners.   There are three qualities which set Bob apart from his contemporaries in the field of financial services: 1) the process he follows is very detailed with an emphasis on helping his clients realize their goals and dreams; 2) the company, Northwestern Mutual, has an impeccable reputation for providing outstanding value to their clients; and 3) Bob, who brings a wealth of life experience to his clients every day.   Bob's mission is to help his clients achieve financial security for their family or business.  He will work with you to help identify your financial goals, suggest solutions to help you reach those goals and show you ways to implement them.   In every situation, Bob will make his recommendations with the same honesty, integrity and sense of urgency that he would provide to himself and his family in the same situation. Bob has more than thirty years of academic, personal and business management experience.   The highlights include an MBA in Finance from NYU; a twenty-year sales & management career at IBM; long-time President of his Fort Lee Co-Op Association; and his current love as a financial professional. Bob is a native New Yorker who resides in Fort Lee, NJ with his wife, Karen, and two children, Eddie and Samantha.   His two passions are his family and golf.  Bob is very excited about being a part of the SHSAA and taking the next steps to realize its future goals and vision as a top fund-raising entity in NYC!  He also chaired the Class of 1968 40th Year Reunion organizing committee.
